*Time and technics* representa uma janela temporal de ação de uma máquina
de choque. Este sistema, de comportamento caótico, é composto por uma
matriz de dispositivos eletromagnéticos programados para actuar sobre uma
superfície de vidro. As rotinas de esforço convergem para uma ruptura
lógica do sistema virtualizada num momento de ruptura material.

A sua obra reflete sobre a relação íntima do ser humano com a máquina,
uma relação que se debruça cada vez mais sobre questões filosóficas,
antropológicas, políticas, sociais e éticas.

Recentemente interessa-se por sistemas complexos e biológicos onde se
inspira na relação do ser humano com o mundo para pensar, debater e criar.

O seu background habilita-o a desenvolver trabalhos envolvendo vários
ramos da criação artística. Aliar tecnologia, arte, ciência e
filosofia, permite ao coletivo ter uma perspetiva abrangente e explorar
discursos com diferentes ferramentas e materiais.

Recentemente expôs em locais como Lisboa (MNAC, Museu Nacional de Arte
contemporânea), no Porto (Galeria Municipal, Mota Galiza, galeria Wrong
Weather), em Braga (Gnration), e Londres (The Old Truman Brewry). É
vencedor do prémio SONAE Media Art 2019.

*"Time and technics" represents a time window of action for a shock
machine. This chaotic system consists of an array of electromagnetic
devices programmed to act on a glass surface. The effort routines converge
to a logical rupture of the system virtualized at a time of material
rupture.*







*about berru <http://berru.pt/> berru is an artist collective from Porto.
Their work reflects on the intimate relationship between human beings and
machines, a relationship that increasingly focuses on philosophical,
anthropological, political, social and ethical issues. The collective has
recently become inter- ested in complex and biological systems, finding
inspiration in the relationship between the human being and the world in
order to think, debate and create. The group’s background enables them to
develop works involving various branches of artistic creation. By combining
technology, art, science and philosophy, the collective gains an extensive
perspective to explore various discourses with different tools and
