Apneia.2 - Anabela Bravo e Pascal Ferreira

Apneia, um projeto de residências desenvolvido pelos artistas Hugo Soares, João Gigante e Reis Valdrez com direção de Carmo Osul, apresentou este mês a exposição final do seu 2º momento, no qual participam Anabela Bravo (Lx) e Pascal Ferreia (Opo).
A Exposição Podium, que inaugurou a dia 6 de Fev. no Maus Hábitos, apresenta o resultado desta residência e pode ser visitada até dia 28 deste mês.
Para reflectir a residência e as exposições a que esta deu lugar, o Apneia organiza agora uma Conversa Pública que vai ter lugar esta Quarta, dia 24.02 às 18h entre os artistas, programadores e teóricos convidados, no Maus Hábitos.

Sobre os artistas, Pascal Ferreira caracteriza-se por um percurso de trabalho plástico onde a criação de lugares e paisagens, ou a representação delas mesmas, protagoniza um aventura, um imaginário e uma sublimação ao próprio espectador.
Anabela Bravo cujo trabalho se desenvolve numa base de experimentação, com um objetivo de confirmar a existência do acaso na prática artística, através jogo personificado no objecto “Dado”, personagem de muitos desafios de azar.

Apneia, a residency project developed by artists Hugo Soares, João Gigante and Reis Valdrez, directed by Carmo Osul, presented this month the finale of its 2nd residency, attended by artists Anabela Bravo (Lx) and Pascal Ferreira (Opo).
The Podium Exhibition, opened on Feb. 6 in Maus Hábitos, presents the result of this residency, and can be visited until Feb. 28.
To reflect the residence and the exhibits that followed it, Apneia is now preparing an Open Talk between Artists, Programmers and Invited Theorists on Wednesday, the 24th of Feb. at 6pm in Maus Hábitos.


About the artist, Pascal Ferreira is characterized by a plastic work where the creation of places and landscapes, or the representation of those, stars as an adventure, an imaginary and a sublimation to the viewer himself.
Anabela Bravo’s work develops on a experimental basis, with the purpose of confirming the existence of chance in the artistic practice, through the game personified in the object “Dice”, the character of so many plays of fate.
