Na edição de 2011, o Festival Silêncio apresenta FILMAGENS – Concurso
Internacional de Poetry Film – com o objectivo de criar uma plataforma de
incentivo à produção de curtas-metragens independentes que tenham a palavra
e a poesia como mote. Com o intuito de realçar a estreita ligação existente
entre o cinema e a poesia, este concurso pretende igualmente promover o
diálogo entre estas formas de expressão bem como o desenvolvimento de novas
correntes criativas e cruzamentos artísticos. As inscrições encontram-se
abertas até dia 5 de Junho de 2011 em www.festivalsilencio.com/filmagens.php.

A apresentação dos filmes seleccionados terá lugar na Sala 3 do Cinema São
Jorge no dia 17 de Junho às 21h00, e no dia 18 de Junho às 18h00. Os filmes
seleccionados estarão disponíveis para votação do público entre os dias 18 e
23 de Junho no site do Festival Silêncio. A apresentação dos finalistas e
entrega dos Prémios Jameson Filmagens 2011 realiza-se na Sala 3 do Cinema
São Jorge no dia 24 de Junho às 21h00.

In its 2011 edition, Festival Silêncio presents FILMAGENS - International
Poetry Film Competition, with the aim of creating a platform to encourage
the production of independent short films that have word and poetry at its
core. Films can be submitted online until June 5th 2011 on
www.festivalsilencio.com/filmagens.php .

The presentation of the selected films will be shown at Cinema São Jorge in
Lisbon on June 17th at 9pm and on June 18th at 6pm. The selected films will
be available for online voting between the 18th of June and the 23th of June
on the festival's website. The award ceremony will take place at Cinema São
Jorge (Sala 3) on June 24th at 9pm.
