<span style="font-size:13px">Estas três imagens são páginas retiradas de um livro litúrgico que estou a reescrever, riscando o texto e só deixando algumas palavras para serem lidas, alterando assim a mensagem religiosa do livro Nella Casa del Padre. <br>
Amore, terra, acqua, vita, luce, são algumas das palavras que se podem ler.<br>
No verão de 2019, fui ter com a minha filha Camila que estava como voluntária num centro de apoio aos refugiados em Carignano, uma vila perto de Turim. Encontrei este livro de litúrgico dentro da bela igreja de Carignano e trouxe-o comigo.<br>
A sua transformação em obra de arte, começou durante o primeiro confinamento e ainda não está completada. Das 416 páginas, estão intervencionadas 267 e só terminarei de o riscar quando a pandemia terminar.<br>
Deste livro de artista, já saiu a bandeira Amore para o projeto Four Flags Lisbon que esteve hasteada na fachada da ZDB em julho de 2020. Agora saem mais 3 páginas para a Mupi Gallery nos Maus Hábitos, Porto.<br>

<span style="font-size:13px">Bio<br>
Licenciou-se em Escultura pela FBAUL, mestrado em Práticas Artísticas Contemporâneas na FBAUP, e é doutorada em Arte Contemporânea pelo Colégio das Artes, Universidade de Coimbra. Foi professora de ilustração na Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian e na escola de arte Ar.Co. Foi programadora e coordenadora da área de formação na Bedeteca de Lisboa (2001-2005).<br>
Atualmente é professora no Departamento de Arquitetura da Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologias da Universidade de Coimbra e do Colégio das Artes. <br>
À sua primeira exposição individual, A Nossa Necessidade de Consolo ÉImpossível de Satisfazer, Zé dos Bois (ZDB) seguiram-se (entre outras), Alice, Bedeteca de Lisboa; Ce sex qu’est pas un, Museu do Neo-realismo, VilaFranca de Xira, Chora, Gaivotas 6, Lisboa.<br>
De entre as exposições colectivas que integrou destacam-se: 2012-2020 obras da Coleção António Cachola, MACE, Elvas, Ponto de Fuga/Vanishing Point, Cordoaria Nacional, Lisboa, A Guerra como Modo de Ver, MACE, Elvas, Género na Arte: corpo, sexualidade, identidade e resistência, MNAC, Lisboa, Re-produtores de Sentido, SESC Rio, Rio de Janeiro, Portugal: 30 Artists Under 40, The Stenersen Museum, Oslo.<br>
Parte da sua obra gráfica encontra-se publicada, destacando-se os livros Alice, Bedeteca de Lisboa (1999), Isto de Estar Vivo de Luiz Pacheco Contraponto (2000) e os livros de artista, A Nossa Necessidade de Consolo é Impossível de Satisfazer #2, Mimesis (2003), Alice’s Guest Book edição da autora, 1 exemplar (2010),The Cabinet of Dr Alice, Stolen Books (2014) e Manifesto Visual, Stolen Books (2016).<br>
Do coletivo artístico Sparring Partners (Alice Geirinhas, João Fonte Santa e<br>
Pedro Amaral), destacam-se as exposições: Tudo o que é sólido dissolve-se no ar, Museu Berardo, A Filosofia do Dinheiro, Museu da Cidade, Lisboa, 2010 e Low, ZDB, 1995. Integrou ainda as Girlschool, coletivo artístico dedicado a aulas performativas sobre arte e sexualidade juntamente com Susana Mendes Silva.</span><br>

These three images are pages taken from a liturgical book that I am rewriting, crossing out the text and only leaving some words to be read, thus changing the religious message of the book Nella Casa del Padre. <br>

In the summer of 2019, I went to visit my daughter Camila who was volunteering at a refugee support center in Carignano, a village near Turin. I found this liturgical book inside the beautiful church in Carignano and brought it with me.<br>

Alice Geirinhas has a BA in Sculpture from FBAUL, an MA in Contemporary Art Practices from FBAUP, and a PhD in Contemporary Art from Colégio das Artes, Universidade de Coimbra. She was a teacher of illustration at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and at the Ar.Co. art school. She was a programmer and coordinator of the training area at Lisbon's Bedeteca (2001-2005).<br>
She is currently a professor in the Department of Architecture at the Faculty of Sciences and Technology of the University of Coimbra and at the Colégio das Artes.<br>
His first solo exhibition, A Nossa Necessidade de Consolo É Impossível de Satisfazer, Zé dos Bois (ZDB) was followed by (among others), Alice, Bedeteca de Lisboa; Ce sex qu'est pas un, Museu do Neo-realismo, VilaFranca de Xira, Chora, Gaivotas 6, Lisboa.<br>
