<strong>Outros Portos – Outros Olhares</strong> Outros Portos – Outros Olhares é uma exposição dedicada ao tema do feminino, e que resulta da seleção de obras fotográficas de cinco artistas, mulheres, que trabalham o tema da consciência feminina nos seus trabalhos.<br>
<br>
A presente mostra encena uma narrativa visual que se organiza em dois eixos significativos no atual quadro do debate sobre o lugar da mulher como sujeito político e, num âmbito mais geral, na gramática dos feminismos contemporâneos.<br>
<br>
O primeiro eixo desenvolve-se no questionamento dos essencialismos fixistas em volta do sujeito mulher e das visões, política e culturalmente, hegemónicas nas sociedades onde estas artistas se enquadram. Trata-se de territórios de violência, simbólica ou material, dos quais emergem os trabalho das artistas Danwen Xing, Margarida Gouveia e Mina Ao - ao invés de se renderem ao medo e ao constrangimento reativo, ensaiam aqui um olhar sincero sobre o modo como estas artistas sentem e refletem estas situações. Já Peng Yun explora a curiosidade feminina face ao género e ao corpo feminino num exercício de prazer e descoberta.<br>

Num segundo eixo desta exposição, subsidiário em certa medida do anterior, propõe-se uma reflexão sobre o poder da cultura e das lideranças femininas em contextos políticos de fraca densidade de direitos e em que o sujeito feminino assume particular centralidade nas micropolíticas e nas dinâmicas de recorrente negociação cultural.<br>
<br>
Aqui se situa o trabalho de Zhang O – que reflete o questionamento da emergência de poder de uma cultura quando liderada pela integração feminina. As obras expostas documentam o reflexo do alargamento, desde 1991, da lei de adopção chinesa que levou famílias americanas a adoptarem mais de 55.000 crianças chinesas, na sua maioria raparigas. Procura-se assim reflectir sobre as relações de troca cultural entre estas jovens raparigas, futuras mulheres, as suas famílias ocidentais e o seu país de acolhimento.<br>

Outros Portos – Outros Olhares narra um percurso de sinceridade e questionamento liberto dos constrangimentos e das amarras do medo, evitando uma linguagem reativa e optando por um olhar positivo e de aceitação sobre como essas artistas sentem e veem o género feminino.<br>

<em><span style="font-size:12px">"Outros Portos - Outros Olhares" is an exhibition dedicated to the theme of the feminine, which results from the selection of photographic works by five artists, women, who work with the theme of the female conscience in their works.<br>
<br>
The present show stages a visual narrative that is organized into two significant axes in the current framework of the debate about the place of women as a political subject and, in a more general context, in the grammar of contemporary feminisms.<br>
<br>
The first axis develops in the questioning of the fixist essentialisms around the woman subject and the views, politically and culturally, hegemonic in the societies where these artists fit. These are territories of violence, symbolic or material, from which the work of artists Danwen Xing, Margarida Gouveia and Mina Ao emerge - instead of surrendering to fear and reactive embarrassment, they try here a sincere look at how these artists feel and reflect these situations. Peng Yun, on the other hand, explores female curiosity about gender and the female body in an exercise of pleasure and discovery.<br>

In a second axis of this exhibition, subsidiary to a certain extent from the previous one, it proposes a reflection on the power of culture and of female leaders in political contexts with a low density of rights and in which the female subject assumes particular centrality in the micropolitics and dynamics of recurring cultural negotiation.<br>

Here is the work of Zhang O - which reflects the questioning of the emergence of power in a culture when led by female integration. The exhibited works document the reflection of the extension, since 1991, of the chinese adoption law that led american families to adopt more than 55,000 chinese children, mostly girls. The aim is to reflect on the cultural exchange relations between these young girls, future women, their western families and their host country.<br>

"Outros Portos - Outros Olhares" narrates a journey of sincerity and questioning freed from the constraints and bonds of fear, avoiding a reactive language opting for a positive and accepting look at how these artists feel and see the female gender.</span></em></div>
