Curator) e Pedro Leão Neto (Ed. Edições scopio) e de um dos artistas convidado da Curator Nuno Sousa Vieira.<br>

<strong>Curator</strong> é uma publicação anual autónoma que mantém o seu vínculo à <strong>Scopio Magazine</strong> e que nasce a partir de uma iniciativa conjunta entre o grupo <strong>CCRE</strong> (Centro de Comunicação e Representação Espacial) pertencente à unidade de investigação <strong>CEAU-FAUP</strong>através do seu projecto <strong>Edições scopio,</strong> e o <strong>i2ADS</strong> – Instituto de Investigação em Arte, Design e Sociedade - uma unidade de investigação sediada na Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade do Porto (<strong>FBAUP</strong>), tendo como entidade parceira a Escola Superior de Música e de Artes do Espetáculo (<strong>ESMAE-PP</strong>). <br>

Scopio Curator, cuja estrutura é sempre construída em torno do trabalho de dois artistas como pretexto para discutir questões da imagem e da visualidade, da narrativa e da espacialidade, actua no cruzamento de diversas áreas disciplinares: da arquitectura à filosofia, da pintura à <em>performance</em>, da fotografia ao vídeo ou ao cinema.<br>

A primeira contribuição para a secção de Curator da Revista Scopio, intitulada “<em>Curating territories through the image</em>”, trouxe a obra dos artistas Wolfgang Wirth e Kiluanji Kia Henda para discutir a ideia de território e imagem, tentando confrontar modos de abordar a paisagem a partir de ângulos culturais, visuais e políticos.<br>

Nesta segunda contribuição, que é simultaneamente o primeiro número da Curator como publicação autónoma, o trabalho de Fernanda Fragateiro e o de Nuno Sousa Vieira foram chamados para acompanhar algumas ideias sobre o significado do legado do modernismo na actualidade e sobre diferentes possibilidades de abordagem aos modos da apropriação. <br>
