Arrebatou a Palma de Ouro (melhor filme) e a estreante Björk recebeu o Prémio para a Melhor Interpretação Feminina.<br><br>O filme de Lars von Trier fecha o círculo de uma trilogia que começou com “Ondas de Paixão” e continuou com “Os Idiotas”, todos eles vinculados aos critérios do manifesto Dogma 95 – que, questionando o artificialismo do cinema convencional, impõe filmar de câmara na mão e com luz natural. <br><br>O sacrifício feminino é novamente evocado mas, enquanto que no primeiro filme temos a imolação de uma mulher pelo marido, neste último a mártir é uma mãe solteira, que se sacrifica pelo filho. Emoção. Tradição enriquecida com a dose certa de risco. Tudo isto faz parte da personalidade artística de Camané. E tudo isto se conjuga num filme que oferece uma luz sobre o seu processo criativo. Duas pessoas ocupam lugares determinantes: José Mário Branco, produtor e director musical, e Manuela de Freitas, poetisa. Porque é nesta trindade de música, poesia e interpretação que Camané se destaca e define a sua essência. E é sobre ela que o filme se detém. Em jeito de “fadocumentário”, o realizador entra em estúdio e acompanha as gravações do álbum “Sempre de Mim” (2008), registando as cumplicidades, subtilezas e intensidades do trabalho.
