Foi bolseiro da FCT e prepara a sua tese de doutoramento sobre a identidade nacional nos filmes de João Canijo. É membro da direção da AIM - Associação de Investigadores da Imagem em Movimento. Licenciou-se em Som e Imagem (especialização Argumento), na Escola das Artes da Universidade Católica Portuguesa e tem também um percurso profissional como argumentista. É coordenador editorial e membro da equipa de organização do Curtas Vila do Conde – Festival Internacional de Cinema. É membro da direção da APAD (Associação Portuguesa de Argumentistas e Dramaturgos) e é editor da Revista Drama.</span><br> <br><br><em>Nascido e criado no Bairro da Reboleira, na Amadora, Sombra já foi condenado e preso por vários delitos. Hoje, acabado de sair da prisão, regressa à sua vida normal como “dealer”, numa tentativa de reintegração no implacável grupo de amigos. Porém, apesar do esforço, está consciente que é um marginal dentro da própria marginalidade do bairro. Por tudo isso, sabe que o seu destino será ser sempre julgado não apenas por aquilo que fez mas, acima de tudo, por aquilo que é.<br>Com argumento e realização do luso-suíço Basil da Cunha, marca a terceira participação do jovem realizador no prestigiado Festival de Cinema de Cannes (depois das curtas “Nuvem”, em 2011, e “Os vivos também choram”, em 2012), onde o filme teve a sua estreia mundial. </em></span></span></span></div></div>
