Mas quando se encontram é como se se tivessem visto ontem, numa esquina qualquer dos anos 80 com os anos 90: no atelier livre da António Arroio, saídos da aula do Pedro Morais, no pátio antigo da Galeria Monumental, depois de discutirem a programação com a Luísa Sampaio, num café de bairro em Coloane, Macau, ou numa tasca marítima perto do Boqueirão da Praia da Galé, em Lisboa. Mostram uns aos outros o que vão fazendo nos intervalos de não se verem. Usam o espaço amigável da Avenida, 211 como catalizador desses monólogos dialogais onde a amizade se sobrepõe a qualquer programa conceptual a três. Álvaro Rosendo compõe pequenas cenas onde as fotografias (que sempre gostou de apresentar em sequências) aproveitam o digital para se tornarem filmes e, portanto, ganharem tempo. Finalmente, Edgar Massul é como se desejasse abolir o tempo e oferece-nos uma realidade permanente: dois toros de madeira que a terra lançou ao mar e o mar rejeitou sobre a terra protagonizam o eterno e desequilibrado confronto do poder (toro fino) e do saber (toro grosso).
