<p style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 12px;"><span>若瑟．狄莫一九六五年葡萄牙里斯本出生，於里斯本接受正規的造型、素描和繪畫藝術教育，獲得澳門歐洲研究學院頒發的藝術管理專業文憑；曾獲東方基金會和葡萄牙國家文化中心獎學金；若瑟八七年起曾先後在葡萄牙、西班牙及澳門等地舉辦二十次個人展覽，是次展覽亦為其於本澳舉行的第七次個人作品展。若瑟．狄莫的作品亦曾在法國、美國、德國、南韓、葡萄牙、泰國和中國各地參與過數十個不同的聯展。</span></p>
<p style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 12px;"><span>這次展覽是全藝社繼零九年初《</span><span lang="EN-US">THE IDIOT</span><span>》後再度舉辦若瑟．狄莫的個人作品展；人生一直面對著不同的生活追求，充斥社會上的大量資訊直觀改寫我們對未來的追求和改變的渴望，來澳定居超過十六年的葡籍藝術家若瑟．狄莫今以“童話”為名，舉辦其最近的個人作品展，究竟“童話”在藝術家筆下會如何表現獨有色彩？觀眾可嘗試從他的作品中尋求答案。</span></p>

<p style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 12px; line-height: 14pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman';" lang="EN-GB"><span>     </span>Organised by the Art for All Society (AFA), <i style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 12px;">Fairy Tales - Works by José Drummond </i>will open at AFA Macau at 6:30pm on Friday 16^th July.
The exhibition, curated by James Chu, will showcase the most recent
works of local artist, José Drummond, including a video work and nearly
a hundred small paintings.</span></p><p style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 12px; line-height: 14pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman';" lang="EN-GB">Born
in Lisbon in Portugal in 1965, José Drummond received his formal
education in the painting, modelling, sketching and drawing in Lisbon,
obtaining a professional diploma in arts management from the Institute
of European Studies of Macau (IEEM). He won scholarships from the
Orient Foundation (Fundação Oriente) and the Centro Nacional de Cultura
in Portugal. Since 1987, he has held 20 solo exhibitions
in Portugal, Spain, Hungary and Macao. The forthcoming exhibition
is his seventh solo exhibition organised in Macao. His works have been
showcased in dozens of joint exhibitions held in Portugal, France, USA, Germany, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and Mainland China.</span></p><p style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 12px; line-height: 14pt; text-align: justify;">
<i style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 12px;"><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman';" lang="EN-GB">Fairy Tales - Works by José Drummond</span></i><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman';" lang="EN-GB"> is a solo exhibition that follows his exhibition <i style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 12px;">The Idiot</i> organised
by AFA in early 2009. People have different life pursuits at different
stages; however, a glut of information in society intuitively changes
our future pursuits and desire for change. José Drummond, the
Portuguese artist who has settled in Macao for more than 16 years,
decided to use ‘Fairy Tales’ as the theme of this solo exhibition. How
will ‘Fairy Tales’ be portrayed by José Drummond? Exhibition-goers will
