da digitalização, cada vez mais aspectos da nossa vida estão sujeitos ao
escrutínio, tornando-se, por isso, mensuráveis. O rápido aumento de dados
publicados online constitui um desafio político, cultural e artístico tanto para
a sociedade como para o indivíduo. Esta tendência é acelerada pela crescente
introdução de sistemas de computação ubíqua em vários aspectos da nossa vida

visualização de dados é um campo relativamente novo do design, mas a sua
importância é crescente. Num mundo de tamanha abundância de dados precisamos de
novas formas de gerir, combinar, analisar e visualizar esses dados. Precisamos
de explorar novas linguagens visuais e outras formas de expressão que nos ajudem
a lidar, encontrar caminhos e ganhar novas perspectivas.<SPAN

natureza dos dados bem como várias técnicas para os visualizar. Vamos focar-nos
no trabalho com <B style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal">Processing </B>mas vamos
também utilizar outras ferramentas e linguagens opensource mais ajustadas a
certas partes do processo criativo de visualização.<o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>

projecto Processing.org e para vários livros sobre programação e design gráfico,
e o seu trabalho tem aparecido na imprensa internacional e tem sido exibido em
