Esconder-se é necessário, instintivo e primordial, assim como encontrar o
seu lar.
Quando a geografia das linhas fronteiriças, por tensões, climáticas,
políticas, religiosas se quebram, esses equilíbrios tão translúcidos e
frágeis, vislumbramos pela frecha da abertura, a difícil realidade dos
cadáveres a flutuar como jangadas à deriva, nos depósitos na margem dos
aeroportos e nas habitações fortuitas dos esgotos subterrâneos das nossas
cidades.
Haverá ainda terra à vista?

Bio
Jérémy Pajeanc (Paris em 1988), onde realizou a sua formação inicial,
formado em Artes Plásticas, Pintura pela Faculdade de Belas Artes da
Universidade do Porto,  é artista plástico, professor e cenógrafo.
Vive e estuda actualmente entre o Porto e a Marinha Grande. Lecciona, no
Lycée Français International de Porto, Artes Plásticas e História da Arte.
Desenvolve em paralelo uma investigação sobre a relação entre Arte e
Ciência no vidro/Arte e História, em colaboração com Cencal.
Trabalha sobre os fluxos migratórios e os grandes êxodos que formaram a
cultura ocidental contemporânea, campo onde tem direccionado o seu
trabalho. Tem exposto regularmente individualmente ou em colectivo e
participado em diversas conversas e conferências em cidades nacionais e
internacionais.
Já foi distinguido por diversos prémios nacionais e internacionais. Membro
do grupo Expedição, associado da Saco Azul Associação Cultural no Maus
Hábitos, Porto.
Fundou em 2018 com Maria Trabulo o projecto In Spite Of, espaço de
apresentação e reflexão de actividades artísticas, com uma bolsa de apoio
do Criatório.

a home. When the geography of the border lines, due to tensions, climatic,
political, religious, break down, those balances so translucent and
fragile, we glimpse through the crack of the opening, the difficult reality
of corpses floating like drifting rafts, in the deposits at the edge of
airports and in the random dwellings of the underground sewers of our
cities. Is there still land in sight?*







*BIO Jérémy Pajeanc was born in Paris in 1988, where he did his initial
studies. He graduated in Fine Arts, Painting by the University of Porto. He
is an artist, teacher and scenographer. He currently lives and works
between Oporto and Marinha Grande.  He also teaches Plastic Arts and
History of Art at the Lycée Français International of Porto. He develops in
parallel a research on the relationship between Art and Science in
glass/Art and History, in collaboration with CENCAL. He works on the
migratory flows and the great exoduses that formed the contemporary western
culture, field where he has directed his work. He has regularly exhibited
individually or collectively and has participated in several talks and
conferences in national and international cities. He has been awarded
several national and international prizes. Member of the Expedição group,
associated with Saco Azul Cultural Association at Maus Hábitos, Porto. He
founded in 2018 with Maria Trabulo the project In Spite Of, a space for
presentation and reflection of artistic activities, with a grant from
Criatório.*
