The year of the big events is progressing: The anniversary festival has subject and theme, and already this weekend the Prix jury gets together in Linz, also for the new category Artificial Intelligence & Life Art. In the Deep Space of the Ars Electronica Center, deep insights into surgery are provided, while even deeper into the Museum of the Future, the work will be done at full speed to dismantle and rebuild.

The 2019 Anniversary Festival has found its theme: "Out of the Box - The Midlife Crisis of the Digital Revolution" is dedicated to an interim balance of digitisation, asking about future perspectives and options for action.

Compass - Navigating the Future
In the Ars Electronica Center, the building is dismantled, assembled, tested, pushed around, hung up and installed. Almost exactly 10 years after the opening of the expanded Ars Electronica Center, the Museum of the Future is reinventing itself.
