Todas as narrativas podem ser consideradas ficções. Podem ser fruto do
desejo, do abandono e alienação de si mesmo, de construção de um comum...
São muitas vezes o prolongamento redundante de acontecimentos onde os
personagens são entidades fictícias. Quem conta uma história, pode sempre
fingir descrever acontecimentos efetivos ou referir-se a personagens reais.

Através das imagens que Kuaê Gindri nos dá a ver na Mupi Gallery, somos
confrontados com aquilo que delas julgamos saber. Sabemos que são
cachimbos, cachimbos de crack recolhidos nas ruas de grandes cidades do
Brasil. Mas não são meros objetos utilitários, são entes que falam por si
mesmos.

As histórias que nos contam não são a ilusão de outro mundo, pois já
renunciaram ao que podiam renunciar. Estão confinadas a um destino do seu
pensamento. Talvez se refiram ao que nos diz Camus: “Joga-se em mitos, sem
dúvida – mas mitos sem outra profundidade que não seja a dor humana e, como
ela inesgotáveis. Não a fábula divina que diverte e cega, mas o rosto, o
gesto e o drama terrestres em que se resumem uma difícil sageza e um
pensamento sem amanhã.”

*All narratives can be considered fictions. They can be the fruit of
desire, of abandonment and alienation of oneself, of building a common ...
They are often the redundant extension of events where the characters are
fictitious entities. Who tells a story can always pretend to describe
actual events or refer to real characters.*

*Through the images that Kuaê Gindri gives us to see in the Mupi Gallery,
we are confronted with what we think we know of. We know they are pipes,
pipes of crack collected in the streets of big cities of Brazil. But they
are not mere utilitarian objects, they are entity that speak for
themselves. *





*The stories they tell us are not the illusion of another world, for they
have renounced what they could renounce. They are confined to a destiny is
own thinking. Perhaps they refer to what Camus tells us: "One throws
himself into myths, no doubt - but myths with no other depth than human
pain and, like her inexhaustible. Not the divine fable that amuses and
blinds, but the face, the gesture and the terrestrial drama wich are summed
up in a difficult wisdom and a thought without tomorrow.”  In The Myth of
