ASSEITAS

Uma performance de Angelina Nogueira, Carolina Grilo Santos, Dori Nigro, Helena Ferreira, Paulo Emílio, Rebecca Moradalizadeh e Regina Moreira.

Asseitas parte de uma reflexão coletiva do “sintoma” que nos define: os espaços, as origens de cada um, as narrativas implícitas nas memórias míticas particulares. Asseitas procura espelhar ciclos de vida, em que na solidão inerente ao ser humano se insurgem momentos de colectividade ritualística e semelhanças na individualidade - estamos sempre sós e nunca estamos sós. Na vida, no ato, no ritual e na arte.

Explora o despertar da ação coletiva, através de ritualismos que referenciam a ideia de mediação sob a forma da figura Xamã, ou, na tradução literal, “aquele que vê no escuro”, médium do domínio espiritual e terreno. Ao longo de 3 atos, esta ação coletiva é marcada por encontros e desencontros, pontos de ruptura e processos de libertação, num universo imagético, expositivo e imersivo.

Asseitas é uma pergunta que não cala diante das crenças dissidentes.

Sobre o coletivo:
Este coletivo surge do encontro de alguns membros do grupo de investigação performativa Sintoma (Portugal) e do Coletivo Tuia de Artifícios (Brasil), e pretende criar novos momentos performativos, interligando a sua relação à instituição que os une (Faculdade de Belas Artes do Porto) aos seus países de origens e ao seu universo particular.

ASSEITAS

Asseitas is a collective reflection of the "symptom" that defines us: the spaces, the origins of each one and the implied narratives in individual mythical memories. This performance seeks to mirror the life cycles in which, from the solitude inherent to the human being, moments occur of ritualistic collectiveness and individuality similarity - we are always alone and we are never alone. In life, in action, in ritual and in art.

It explores the awakening of a collective action through ritualism that reference the idea of ​​mediation in the form of the Shaman figure, or, in literal translation, "the one who sees in the dark," medium of the spiritual and terrestrial realm. Throughout three acts, this collective action is marked by encounters and disencounters, break points and liberation processes, in an imagetic, expository and immersive universe.

Asseitas is a question that cannot be silent in the face of dissenting beliefs.

About the colective:
This collective takes form from the meeting of members of the performance investigation group Sintoma (Portugal) and the Collective Tuia de Artifícios (Brazil), and aims to create new performative moments, linking their relationship to the institution that unites them (Faculty of Fine Arts of Porto) to their countries of origin and their particular universe.
