A residência Apneia.3, conta com Luísa Abreu e Jorge Lourenço (Opo) e inicia-se com uma conversa Flash aberta ao público no dia 18 de Fev. no Maus Hábitos, com os artistas e curadores do projeto Apneia. No dia seguinte, têm lugar a inauguração da Exposição Sprint a 19 de Fev. às 18h na Árvore, uma exposição rápida tipo prova de esforço para os artistas, que serve de introdução pública à residência. Segue-se o período de residência na Árvore, que termina com a Exposição final a dia 26 de Março no Maus Hábitos.

Nesta 3ª residência participam Jorge Lourenço, que sugere uma aproximação do seu trabalho ao transcendente, questionando constantemente as suas próprias definições, enquanto se assume como alguém que trabalha no campo da pintura e que explora a usurpação dos atributos que lhe são inerentes, e Luísa Abreu, que explora a relação entre homem e objeto e as infindáveis variantes do relacionamento que pode existir entre ambos, e analisando a ação de acumular e colecionar, para formular reflexões que extraem a pluralidade de objetos conferindo-lhes um teor singular.

The residence Apneia.3, for which the artists Luísa Abreu and Jorge Lourenço (Opo) where invited, starts with an open conversation on Feb. 18th at 6pm in Maus Hábitos, between them and the curators of the project. The day after, on Feb. 19th at 6pm, the Opening of the Sprint Exhibition takes place in Árvore - a fast exhibit format that works as stress test for the artists and as a public introduction of the residency. Then follows a residency period in Árvore, ending with the final exhibition on March 26th in Maus.


About the artists participating, Jorge Lourenço, suggests an approximation of his work to the transcendent, constantly questioning its own definitions, while assuming himself as someone who works in the field of painting and explores the usurpation of its inherent attributes. Luísa Abreu, who explores the relationship between man and object and the endless variations of the correlation that may exist between them, analysing the action of accumulating and collecting to formulate reflections that extract the plurality of objects giving them a unique content.
